2. Overview

mywohnheim.de is a public directory without user accounts, forms or saved lists. We do not store search history or profiles. Filters and search terms are processed only in your browser.

3. Hosting and server logs

The site, including DNS, is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser information) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Map (OpenStreetMap)

Map tiles are loaded from servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom), which receives your IP address. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The UK benefits from an EU adequacy decision. More: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy. Your location is never requested.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We intend to fund this site with Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Ads only load after you make a choice in the consent banner (Google’s IAB TCF-certified consent management platform). With your consent, cookies and similar technologies may be used and data such as IP address, device information and usage data processed to serve and measure (possibly personalised) ads, including in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. If you decline, non-personalised ads with limited data processing may be shown. You can withdraw consent at any time through the privacy settings link or the consent banner. More: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Email contact

If you email us, we use your details only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once no longer needed, unless legal retention obligations apply.

Emails to mywohnheim.de addresses are forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a Microsoft mailbox (Outlook.com, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin). Cloudflare does not store the messages permanently.

7. External links

Links to residences and operators lead to third-party websites. Data is only transferred to them when you click, and their privacy policies apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
